About Colin

I'm a visual artist based in Lisbon, Portugal. I work in a wide variety of media: painting, drawing, photography, video, installation, writing, sound... I decided to build this site to archive and market what is an important, but also distinct body of work - my (Dirty Little) Drawings, which might be in marker, watercolour ink, wax crayon, pencil,  or other media. They can be unapologetically queer, they touch on other themes of mine (biography, community) but all seek a certain essentiality, whether it be of line, or message. Also they're often fun, whereas other work of mine might tackle heavier themes. I've had two exhibitions of Dirty Little Drawings in Lisbon, in 2018 and 2022, and a few were incorporated into a solo show I had, again in Lisbon, in 2020. Also a few were shown in what sadly had to be a virtual exhibition in New York, also in 2020. Tbc is an exhibition of newer works during Pride Month in Lisbon in 2026!
